The Younger Lady
By Eliezer Khiangte
Between my arms my younger lady,
This is where the days reschedule daily
Look up with your head held strong
The summer breeze blew, a song draw dawn.
Little as a mustard, as tender as a new seedling,
Born of a man, crafted, fashioned, designed, formed to perfection.
Beyond the ability of a painter
A complete art, doth glorify the creator.
Hear my beloved, my younger lady
This words come but for only thine ears.
Keep thyself pure and uphold thy spirit
Not for thee the pleasure of this world,
But joy that cometh forth from heaven. Cherish those therein.
Take thee not my words as burden,
For the pleasure of the world are for a moment
And will forever be lost in the blink of an eye.
It’s better for thee to lose earthly things
For the betterment of your soul
Stand strong preserve your purity, holiness and above all humility
And never let a vain word proceed out of your lips.
Prioritize what you claim priority
And never turn your back on them
Make friends that push you to do good,
And forsake them not.
Come to me, my younger lady
Learn from my past to live a healthier life.
For life will offer its finest choices
But an experienced life will help you to choose
Be watchful my lady, of your own decisions
And let no charm deceit your mind.
Watch and pray and let God decide your paths
For we are to pray against all temptation.
We are here but for a moment
And knowing very well, “This is all that we have.”
But the reality is that we are not ourselves but a gift of God
So glorify Him with the gift of life He presented you.
Better to be sad with a broken heart then to be happy with fools
Better to eat bitter with good members then meat with vipers.
Better to be in God’s presents then in an house of idols.
After all, the soul is more important than the body.
Present yourself with the presence of God
Be as an example to your fellow brethren
Judge wisely, and be on your toes in every situation.
Temptations are always at your door. Both as calm and harmless
Pray indeed for the strength to discern between them.
In its time will you get and not beforehand
Just as in the time of labor thou do not go for harvest.
Wait for the moment for the later is better than the first.
Hold my hand, my younger lady
The lads will indeed pursue you daily
And in their charm will verily blind you
For it’s in the very nature of humanity
In its time and the right one willbe given you
Therefore trust in the Lord and wait His holy time.
It’s not for me or for you to figure our future
But that what has been written may be fulfilled in us.
We are to follow in obedience through faith
And good will follow all the days of your life.
Learn; my lady to forgive others
And furthermore, forget the wrong they did to you.
We are all children under the umbrella of God
Therefore we are to forgive them and forget their doings.
Do good that your Father in heaven be glorify
And your name be among the greats in heaven.
Be not proud of your position and possessions,
But let others be proud of your achievement.
Fear not, my younger lady
Of storms that compasseth around you
Hold on to the promises which God gave you.
No storm is stronger than your creator
No temptation is stronger than a man’s will
To which is a clear assurance from God.
Accomplishing your share of work without fear,
Till the Lord calls you home, unto eternal rest.
From the beginning till the end,
The Lord will sustain your body
You are to praise Him in season out of season.
Therefore pray and meditate in His presence,
And new knowledge will He add upon you.
Wash your face with water and soul with the Holy Spirit,
And shine in the midst of this perverse world.
The Lord will be with you forever.
Beware, my younger lady
From evil spirits, and demons, and lustful man,
For they are quick to cause destruction,
And render the souls of their victims.
Be in the midst of praying people,
And submit thyself unto their hands.
Be not arrogant, selfish and greedy,
But show the Lord’s love through your actions.
Beware of anger, and its consequences
Lest thou be consumed in hell fire,
With love and affection will thou defeat anger,
And treating all man alike as love should do.
In times of sickness and times of joy,
Will thou praise His name,
Till His kingdom comes back.
Partake in every good deed, thus glorifying His name.
My love, my truly beloved younger lady,
Only God knows one’s life on earth
And we give thanks for every moment of our lives,
Rather be good or bad.
I love you now as I love you then,
But I still am in search of your mother.
Better late than being hasty in decision
For I too, do what I preach
And in all only a perfect mother can nurse a perfect child.
With all love toward you
I wait for your arrival
And with a joyous heart I pray.
I welcome your first step.
Only God’s time is the perfect time,
I hereby keep these words in my heart,
Till the time when you will finally be in my arms.
With Love…..
