The Within

I believe you, I trust you, my faith lies in you …

Because of the love you’ve put inside my heart,

The beatings on the chest, like joyous melody you impart,

Within me, who is none but a reflection of your part…

Every day I am growing under your grace,

Evolving in parts learning your ways,

The simplest ones that we complicate,

With the desires of this worldly trap…

I thank you for awaking me,

From the sleep filled with materialistic dreams,

To pour your kindness,

In the form of pretty little realizations,

That helps me know within

And the guidance to explore the world from inside…

Is what all I’m seeing for the 1st time,

In this journey I came across a strange thought,

Why many leave the way of faith in god?

The answer came from the depths of unknown,

That their faith is for the returns they aspire,

Which is temporary…

For the world has a date to expire!

Such little things we ignore,

All answers lie in a single dot,

The origin point, the beginning of all,

That is me, that is Him…

It is all inside of our soul,

The only source, which has the answers of all…

Just a look within is what’s required,

But all are too busy to admire

The shiny lights, the twinkling nights;

Forgetting the real, in these gleaming lies…

Nevertheless, I’m glad ‘cause this little thought,

Helped me to grow some more…
