The Wildflower Meadows

The meadows drowned in wildflowers
Stretch far across the horizon under the clear October skies,
Adorning the earth with their majestic simplicity.
Covering every empty inch of the blissful vastness;
Leaving an optimal space in between for a tiny path to walk down and explore the magic within.
The sunbird perches on that low bowing branch of dead wood
Covered in a wilderness of lavender hues.
Miniature polkas of white, blue and velvet red draws a rough circle 'round an old gazebo.
The broken roof overgrown with the pinkish tint of winter's blush
Shimmers with a joyful innocence of childhood hangouts.
A branch of the cherry blossom drapes overhead
Elegantly - like stage curtains,
Unfolding the gateway to a different dimension
Full of pleasant surprises built with green, gold and sunshine.
The wildflowers are obstinate wonders,
Healing into something much more beautiful
After getting trampled by inconsiderate beings.
They grow out into eternity, one at a time,
Devouring darkness and spreading hope and light.
The scenic meadows flaunt their beauty,
Wrapped in delicate emotions of a prevailing tranquillity;
Glowing in the glory of nature’s mesmerizing abundance
That spring had just endowed a kiss of blooms with;
Extricating the toxins and suffusing the lungs with utmost freedom and freshness.
