The Widow

She stares at the vast land,

On the stormy night,

Over the river to the dense forest,

Ahead of light,

A bright flash uncovers the remains of her past,

Where now lies,

The grave of her husband’s last,

Braver than most handsome than the rest,

He lived a great life.

Demented by greed,

He was killed by his own wife.
