The Waltz
By Rimjhim Nigam
I miss my world, my rightful life,
without you, is a futile strife.
When I close my shimmering eyes,
I behold a new world, simmering rise.
The soft touch of your lips on mine,
tastes like some tasteful wine.
The intense smooch you accord my way,
is the tranquil sea my wreckage lay.
I can feel your arm up my waist,
another to unclench my hair in haste.
Your eyes, a pair of angelic gaze,
drowned and then, survived in bays.
As I lay and feel your stance,
marvelling and hallucinating this dance.
My prince and I whirling in waltz,
I await, till then, in my vaults.
