Buzz buzz buzz, my phone buzzed

Dipp dopp dipp was how it sounded

I got up to see what's the fuzz

What's the notification that had caused it

I got to see a reminder old

Said to wish someone today

Alongside it was an emoji heart of gold

I tried hard but memory failed of this day

Having being struck at the head,

That falling metal had left a mark

Bye bye was what my memories said

And suddenly everything had gone dark

When he woke, his head was light

Everything around him seemed a bit bright

Looking around everything seemed so new

It was weird and he had not a single clue

Doctors came to check on him and his organs,

Seeing him awake they showed relief,

and blurted out some medical jargons

And a final statement bringing grief

He had lost this memories precious

Name his was also not coming out

He tried hard but wasn't victorious

At the end losing hope he let a sigh out

Family came and came along friends

Tired to make him remember those old trends

They said names and showed him pics

None of that could do that trick

Eventually he got released and went home

The place was where many memories roamed

Yet he was oblivious, something blocking his vision

He saw many paintings made with so very precision

Mother his told that the artist was him

His eyes stopped at a painting of a girl taking a swim

He asked his mother who the girl

All his mother could say,”She was pearl”.

As time passed the visitors decreased

But one particular person never ceased

She came each day and talked a while

It felt so familiar her face her smile

Coming back now to that buzzing of my phone

The sound of the reminder had gradually grown

I pushed the cancel button and sat to thought

When suddenly an application my eyes caught

The application had a lock on the face

And under it was gallery vault written

Touching that icon popped a pin entry space

And below it was a hint that's hidden

In the hint was a text that said "Panda's way"

And the pin required characters four

I tried hard but the boulder didn't sway

I tried a few random numbers but couldn't score

Amidst all this havoc, my visitor had come

I stooped to leave my phone and turned to talk

She had brought cookies blended with rum

And she played a song which she told I loved in Rock

Talking to her I told her my dilemma,

The notification and the mystery of the vault

She thought for a while but couldn't figure out the schema

Suddenly she had to leave owing to a call

I saw a sudden sadness on her face as she turned to leave

That smile i had begun liking was lost

I wanted to stretch my hand and hold her sleeve

I wanted her to stay, whatever may the cost

Suddenly a couple of numbers came to my head,

My heart gave a push as I punched them in

The combination had to be "1502", my heart said

I let out a silent prayer as I entered the pin

Suddenly to my amazement the lock wasn't there

And inside i saw a number of folders

Each folder had a unique date and location paired

Numerous pics were there in each folder

Each pic had one common face with a smile,

Alongside was me and I looked so different

Her face had a bright luster and amazing was her style

A hidden emotion came out which i felt was so very spent

I felt a rush of emotions and tears started coming out

I felt a familiar pain and i wanted to shout

I picked my call and dialed a number

It was like I woke up from a deep slumber

She picked my phone and tried to sound okay

I said something and she broke to tears

I said to her I now remember and hope for my memories to stay

I told her i now remember her love and how she cares

I told her that I believe in the power of love,

I now am able to see that pair of doves

I'll stay and will never leave

I'll be with you till my last breath leaves...
