The Unsent Letter

By Shraddha Arya

Yes I sounded harsh & brutal,

But you know what hurts more,

Learning it silently, &

Speaking it, without any soul,

Apologies for I have offended you,

This is the only way,

it will ever be told,

Please bare this pain,

As I now continue to unfold,

Listen me carefully,

Stop twisting my words,

I’m not a playful Mold,

I want to trust you, I really do,

But my heart says DON’T..!

We should give us a little rest, after,

What I’m going to say next..!

Thus, with a heavy chest,

Bye I’m done with you,

Let me go, I request.

You’re not even trying to stay,

Is reflecting the truth,

Which now has been told,

It’s you, always you,

Who didn’t wanted any serious hold.
