The Ugly Truth

The world as it is,

shimmering,

And dancing in its breeze,

How beautiful can it get?

Beautiful enough to get nasty,

or too good enough to be true?

Gorgeous is the ocean,

and shining is the sky.

Beautiful, is it not?

Angry is also the ocean,

And so is the sky.

Is this not true?

Everything has two sides,

So does the earth.

It shows us both,

So why can’t you?
