Falling economy, crumbling mind,
The earth so cruel, yet so kind.
Everyone wound so tight, yearning to unwind,
Hoping for the peace they might find.
But caught in the endless all consuming grind.
They ask the oceans,
“Will u take me and swallow me whole?
Drown my tired body and soul?”
The ocean replies,
“I’m not mighty enough to drown a soul in a body that is working so hard, yet still thinks is a nobody. For you are the grounded and the real power, uncovering the secrets of a hidden tower”
“What tower?” they ask with curiosity.
“The one built of peace and satisfaction, happiness and content, reward and joy, moments of laughter that nothing can destroy.” It replies.
They were hopeful,
but afraid.
They ask- “What if I never find it? What if it crumbles?”
It sighs and replies “As long as you willing to swim in me is more appealing than you drowning in me,
the tower will be steadfast and strong,
You will find it even if the storms rage all night long.”
