To The Teacher of the year: Blaster of all the decades,

To the year 2020!

You have started on a good note for me and for many of us,

None of us were aware that this was a calmness before a super stormy dust.

We enjoyed the winter followed by a month of love,

But the March came up with the grey clouds of Covid-19 all above!

Everything has got shut in the blinking of eyes,

You made the whole world stop and rest itself for a while.

Some were locked with their family and friends,

And many of them died who couldn't survive this pain. Some have become cooking experts, developed a lot many hobbies,

You have taught the world to respect the values for their families.

You, Mr. 2020, lost everyone's hopes,

Few of those who survived are wondering at you like a mere joke.

Great people so far have been wanted to teach the importance of time & money, friends & family, love & enemies,

From Unlocking the lockdown took our breaths away at each and every sunrise.

You, Mr. 2020 was one hell of a teacher,

Nailing everyone's patience out saying "Better Luck Next Time" as a payer on a Google.

You Turned out to be a monster, if I try to sum up,

I could see there is an irreparable loss,

May be, the world has come to a position, where for 2021 it doesn't even want to make any toss.

Still we are the warriors of this on going battle,

You have made us realise the power to stay strong in this struggle.

The Great Darwin has given a theory of - Survival for the fittest,

Now it's the time that we need to believe in those old masterminds for our own sake.

You have changed everyone's life at such a drastic graph,

An atheist like me became an optimist towards worshiping the eternal spirit at last!

I don't know whether to thank you or to wave a good bye to you Mr. 2020,

Just putting my faith in Doctors, Scientists, Families and Friends who were there and will be there with me till the eternity!
