The Story of Unie

Unie the unicorn was very sad,

Because her friends at her were always mad.

That was because she had a bendy horn

But what could she do?

She was a baby after all,

And unicorns always have a bendy horn

When they are first born

But all her friends’ horn were strong.

But if they thought that

They were the only great ones

They were wrong.

But then to solve her problem Unie had a plan,

Faraway to Fairy Godmother she ran.

She told Fairy Godmother her problem

She said : To solve your problem here is a gem

But what do I do with it?; Unie asked

With all her attention drawn

She replied: Just rub it on to your horn

So that it never bends

She did as she was told,

Seeing that she had a strong horn

She now became really bold.

Of her new horn now

She had to take a test

So she puffed out her chest

And went to show off her new horn

That would never bend

She walked away to show her new horn to her friends

Unie said : See my horn that not bends

Her friends had had a surprise

Has the sun in the right direction rise?

They asked amazed

Don’t you tease me now

Just look at my horn and say ‘WOW!’

From that day nobody teased her

And Unie lived happily ever after.
