You are the one
Who makes me live
Who showed me love
And how it’s real
You are the one
Who brought the light
To a life
Once filled with dread
You are the reason
I strive every day
If not for you
I'd have lost my way
Each day I live
In this cruel, cruel world
Because I hope
You'll always stay near.
Though words may fade
And seasons pass,
Your love remains
The light that guides my path.
