The Silent Voice

By Ragi Mishra

Mind: I hate the person I see each day.

Heart: Then look again - I’ve grown, haven’t I?

Mind: But I’m not who I wanted to be.

Heart: Maybe you’re becoming who you need to be.

Mind: When will I finally feel enough?

Heart: When you stop measuring your worth by the tough.

Mind: But I’ve failed so many times before.

Heart: Then you’ve already learned what living is for.

Heart: Why do you blame me every night?

Mind: Because I should’ve done it right.

Heart: You did your best. You tried. You cared.

Mind: Yet I still failed. I wasn’t prepared.

Mind: How do I forgive the version of me who broke?

Heart: By holding her hand - not her mistake.

Mind: Even if she ruined what I loved most?

Heart: Especially then. That’s when she needs you close.

Ending: Healing begins the moment you stop running from yourself.
