The Secrets Of My Trade

Hi, My name is Gregory,

And I work in a bank,

Everyday I loot its treasury,

Everyday its Teller I thank!

You guessed it right, we men in black,

Practise our Dark Arts in the dead of night,

Once I 'work' in a house, I do come back,

Unless my schedule is a bit too tight!

Now this story is of old, and old is gold,

And you know how gold makes me tingle,

This was during the Gold rush, when the times were cold,

But the currency was crispier than a Pringle!

Those Greedy Gold diggers mine for their prized gem,

But I want hard work to go into my bread,

It's not that I'm less greedy than them,

But I'd rather steal it from them instead!!

One such man went by the name of Ben Hills,

The greediest Humdinger if I'd ever see one,

In one pocket, he carries a wad of bills,

In the other, he carries a gun.

One fine day, I felt it was time,

That dear Ben finally got some tough love,

I crept into his house as quiet as a mime,

As I rummaged through his house, I came across...A Dove!!

"Pesky Bird" I say with a rasp,

"Pesky Bird" It says the same!

Taken aback, I can't stifle a gasp,

This Mad Manatee knew how to play my game!!

"You can talk!", I say out loud,

"Well, So can you", It says with cheek,

"I'm on a mission, just don't be loud",

Says he "Aaah, Shut up!! I know what you seek".

"Shut Up!" I say, "You wretched twit",

"Don't you wake up your old hag!!",

But that damned bird would never quit,

"Guaaards!!, Arrest this fodder bag!!".

Out blasts Ben, his gun by his side,

His livid eyes scan the room,

They settle on me, I've had my final ride,

He points the gun at me, the gun goes BOOM!!!
