The Search

You go, Travel high, travel afar,

Travel away to a no man's land.

Sail through the seas and climb all the mountains,

Walk untouched earth or reach up the skies.

But the answer you seek is nowhere there,

Unless you go down the depth of your heart.

So light up the torch, squint through the darkness,

Search for that trail moving into your core,

Forgotten beneath the heap of all lies,

All heartbreaks, burdens and unspoken fears.

Walk down that path, and don't hesitate,

Do not be afraid of what you may find,

You may have to face, your mistakes and faults

That pain which still hurts & can't bear to feel,

But walk through it all, and keep going on,

One step at a time, and then one more,

Rummaging through every corner and bend,

Pick up from the rest, those meaningful bits.

Sharpen your mind and view it again,

Now might make sense, since you are alert.

So count every moment of every day,

Look for the grains from a heap full of hay.

There's no need to rush, take your own time

Rest for a bit, but for strength to move more.

But don't lose your heart, and don't ever stop,

Those answers are there at the end of it all.

And finally when the wreckage is clear,

The light will shine through, and wake your soul

Once it awakes, all questions would rest,

Then you will too, and be content again.
