The Same Old Pathway

Why all of a sudden has it become so predictable?

Yet why is it still not stable?

The summer that melted her heart;

The winter that enhanced the dark;

The monsoon that had her slipping and tripping:

The spring that had her blooming;

The autumn that had her leaving;

The days, the months,

The track downs and hunts.

All fell into place,

When she read what was written on their face.

But she failed to understand,

And her every effort was broken down to sand.

Yet she promises to not loose heart,

And learn from her past hurt.

She seeks to analyse;

But never sympathise,

And only empathise.

Because she believes from then on,

That she’s the very queen of her kind and in her own way, spot on.
