The 'Rainbow'

I saw a rainbow

which people saw in awe,

the colours were seven

and it felt like heaven.

The first was Violet

the second was Indigo,

if you see a rainbow,

you can only say ‘Wow!’

The third was blue

the fourth was green,

the best combinations of colours

you have ever seen.

The fifth was Yellow

the sixth was orange,

the seventh was red,

and here you complete the rainbow range!

It’s the magic of colours

which make the world colourful,

some are warm as the Sun,

whilst some are soothing and cool.
