The Rain

By Jerry

I saw her, standing at the bus stop, waiting for the rain to stop..

The anticipation in her eyes was so innocent, she kept looking at the rain and Seeing her expressions I was sure that she wanted the rain to stop…

She was drenched totally, Her thick eyelashes had some droplets of Rain, Her eyes were innocent, she was shivering because of the cold Air…

She was just Looking around and I knew it, That she wanted to go home, She has this thought in her mind that, When will the rain stop? When will she go home? When she will feel the warmth of her house??

But the rain didn't stop and I keep staring at her, She was unaware of my presence I was standing beside her, But she was so much in her thoughts of  "going home"                             she didn't  look at me, But me??                                                                                                                               I was keep looking at her, it was like I can't look anywhere except her.

She was pretty, So pretty that in this wild rain, while she was so drenched, She shined like those water droplets, I was mesmerized by her, And the innocent anticipation in her eyes to go home was making me smile then and now…

The way she was sulking, because the rain kept pouring and her thought of going home, was delaying, She was the most beautiful women I have ever saw but she didn't see me...

She didn't care about her  Surroundings All she thought was to go home, she just wanted to go her  home…
