The Poetry in You

Everyone thinks that poetry has to rhyme, follow a certain structure, an order, even stick to a topic.

I don't really understand how that could ever be classified as poetry, because real poetry rhymes without trying.

Its structure is ever-changing because how can a melody or feeling ever be conveyed so rigidly and controlled?

How can a poem ever be constricted to one idea when humans change ever so constantly and desire to put out all their emotions in a single script?

Poetry should never be methodical.

It should be every single part of you, the good and the bad, the sad and the happy, the vulnerable and raw.

Poetry is every bit of you, inked to perfection.
