The Ocean

On my mighty ship I lay,

Passing by an island ahead,

The waves were gushing against it,

Every moment it seemed to near a bit.

As far as my eye could see,

Was the continuous reign of the sea,

As low as my vision could reach,

Were the little, beautiful fish.

The silence alone was enough to scare,

A movement too was quite rare,

Just the wind above me frowned,

And the ocean below me slept sound.

Until I saw a spark on the horizon,

The lightening showed the sea’s treason,

The steady breeze now flew aghast,

And the waves now flowed too fast.

My ship was not ready for this,

The sea was now pissed.

So I with my ship stood strong,

Trying to come out alive after the storm.

While I was wondering how the sea changes,

About its several mysteries and dangers,

My ship that wanted to turn from the island shore,

Now got to know that it existed no more.
