The November Heart

The ice cold air where ghosts reside;

the monochrome day and night.

hypnotized eyes as clouds pass by;

sinking in the abyss till summer arise.

greyer the heart ever before;

wishing for nothing but an antidote.

Oh sublime heart ! You're hurt but never killed;

alive but not aware or skilled.

ceaseless expectation of life;

paramount is what others think is right.

heavier the cloud ready to pour;

leaves waving rainy tears back and forth.

sludge stain on whiteshirt- forevermore !

but where's the red paint on my heart if the sun never shows ? stars in the pocket and moon behind curtains;

Dear November, you are bittersweet but certain !
