The Night Sky

Oh how astral is the night sky

I just stare at it when I feel like I want to cry

Just like that I feel better without having to move from where I lie

Oh how astral is the night sky

Its not like the bright and sunny one

Under which children have their summer fun

Its something else entirely

So alluring is its beauty that one that look at it tirelessly

The pretty diamonds up above that shine

Sometimes remind me of the pretty lady’s neckline

The funny shapes that they form

Is a game for me and my mom

Then there is the big white lucent ball

Sometimes I wonder if it will ever fall

If it falls maybe I could catch it

Maybe then I’ll see how it changes shape and colour without a make up kit

I think the stars are friends with the porcelain ball

And when I tell the it about my day at the mall

They listen too and come flying by

Just to tell me that the moon heard me and as did the sky

Oh how astral is the night sky

I just stare at it when I feel like I want to cry

Just like that I feel better without having to move from where I lie

Oh how astral is the night sky
