The Night is Mine

Light hurts always,

It's the dark that always remains beside.

Don’t implied me to be in light,

I am comfortable in dark,

Snuggly nights give me a sense of mine,

It makes me feel homely.

The light in the day,

Burns my desires and dreams.

I would like to talk to the moon,

So why should I let the sun know my wounds?

Those little birds,

Just goss around the bushes,

I am used to the hymn of owls,

All these days might be theirs,

But the night is all mine.

Days gives illusions,

It shows me life that is just a mirage,

True life is shown by the night,

Where even the shadows lost their part.

Why should I follow up the clear sky,

When a pole star is there to guide me at night.

Heat waves of the day,

Dried up all emotions of mine,

In the cool breeze of night,

All my sentiments can revive.

I love to lost in the depth of darkness,

Then why ostensibly find me in light.

Let them claim all the days,

But the night is all mine.
