The Museum Of You

You were like a museum in a state of flux, Undergoing changes that left you somewhat rough. But as I explored your depths and your nooks, I found beauty within, like reading a thrilling book You may appear to some as dull and dreary, Your halls and displays appearing weak and weary. Yet for those who look past the surface guise, Lies a living museum, a treasure in disguise. As I walked through the halls of your heart I saw stories, memories, pieces of art Each one a testament to the life you've lived The challenges you've faced and thrived I heard tales of your childhood, of dreams and of fears Of laughter and love, and of heartbreak and tears Your memories were like exhibits, each one unique And I marvelled at the strength it took to speak Like a museum, you hold secrets and tales, But now I see the splendor in all of your details. Your past, your love, your pain, your joy, Each aspect a masterpiece that nothing can destroy. Now I see you in a different light, As a living, breathing masterpiece, shining bright. Your stories are the art that never fades away, And I am grateful to have experienced them today.
