The Museum of Unchosen Lives

At midnight, somewhere, doors unlock,

Where unborn lives keep time like clocks.

A woman who never missed her train

Walks through a city without your name.

A boy who chose the road not taken

Sings every song you left forsaken.

A mother who never became a mother

Laughs beside a child like no other.

They do not haunt us, beg, or blame;

They simply whisper our forgotten name.

Each choice we make seals one small door,

Yet every “what if?” walks the floor.

So when regret sits beside your bed,

Do not mourn the lives that fled.

You are not one life, but a flame,

Burning through worlds that never came.
