The moon cries red tonight

Oh weary heart that's losing sight

wounded open searing

no longer bleeding mending

but eternal nearing ending

Dimly lit but yet a glow

hanging heavy hanging low

the half the darkness left to show

A heartfelt sound deep sorrow grounds

hear the thunder brawling

A yearning voice that's beckoning calling

unsilenced bellows mourning

Helpless whirlwind uncontrolled

confusion gale and gust

with it brings a hurricane

of chaos turmoil’s reaping

the seeds of sobbing weeping

Lightning strikes amidst the dark

recalling flashing memories

travelling at the speed of light

our path unsettled journey

A painful snare a fatal dare

Should it strike twice and leave us bare

to tell of but it's story

Splashing out emotionless

the bleeding heart and soul

falling swiftly slowly

in confronting shatters whole

and as it blows with heavy woes

it's tiny 'harmless' stings

Pitter patter

does it matter

Splattered Pain it sings

For tonight the moon cries Red

Wounded open searing

For love that lost its sight

No longer bleeding mending

But eternal meeting ending.
