The Moon

Night flowers blossomed, quietly

Shied away from me, hiding their faces,

The fragrance, however, took me places

Orange, lilac and blue

The sky showered its colours upon you

Clouds painted up, it’s true

That God made this world

So beautiful, everything feels new

It sure is new, a new beginning

Going to tread carefully, this time

Going to make everything fine

The moon, hidden in the cotton,

Says there’s no place at the bottom,

You can either let the stars shine,

Or shine yourself, right through the clouds

You can do it, without a doubt.
