The Mocking Bird

Sun scattered its rays like crimson arrows.

The mocking bird sings its song.

Merrily he sings his song

Hoping for the lovely spring to arrive.

Searching for his mate in the forests.

Inside the thick wilderness.

Far away from the human world.

He finds his mate on a pomegranate tree.

Patiently waiting for his arrival.

Above the tree he hovers, and waits.

The sun spreads the evening rays which felt like a goodbye.

Time for the the mocking bird to part from his lover.

Reluctantly he rose above the pomegranate tree.

Hesitantly circled around and flew far far away.

Watching the sight from my window.

The crimson dusk brought the day to an end.

Followed by the silvery starry sky of night.

In the quietude of the dark

Inundated in the harrowing solitude,I wondered.

Each second away from you feels like an aeon.

I laid down in the harrowing pitch black night.

Hoping for the sun to spread its dawning rays.

So that I could become the mocking bird.

And fly to you one more time.
