The ‘ME’ in the mirror.

Bold, Beautiful, Confident and True.

Once a minion size and now,

Look at how you have grown!

Stitched in my own way, my growth has had different learnings in different ways.

I have grown strong, I have grown bold, I have become understanding

So much so, that I know not to believe everything I have been told.

I have aged with grace and ripened with wisdom.

To know that experience is hardship in a polite way.

To look back on all the precious time,

When mini me cried, the sky would divide.

To have all the attention then;

Now to feel that I have no one by my side

I conquered my fears from back then

But I have just begun.

To the me in the mirror that I see, I wish to say a few things to you today,

You were always beautiful in every way.

I may not have been this kind to you back then

Most days were in rhetoric were breaking you in many ways

But you have come a long way and made me who I am today

I am grateful and thoughtful for every lesson I had.

To the me for tomorrow, I wish to say

Never forget the strength you had coming here today.

There’s always going to be another tomorrow

But there’s never going to be another yesterday.

Cherish all your memories for yesterday is sooner than you know.
