* The Man Behind the Villain

The man is bound by responsibilities,

chained to duties he never chose.

Haunted by a past

that never learned how to let him go.

Every step feels like a gamble-

one wrong move, and everything collapses.

So he stands still, suspended between choices,

carrying the weight of a thousand unseen lives.

They call him the villain.

Point their fingers, write their stories.

In their version, he is the storm-

never the one caught in the rain.

They see distance and call it coldness.

Silence and call it pride.

They never ask what it costs

to keep the pain locked inside.

I used to explain myself,

to unravel every scar, every wound.

But I learned that people see only through their own eyes,

and truth often drowns beneath assumption.

They prefer simple stories-

a villain and a victim, black and white.

It is easier than facing the shades of gray

that live inside every life.

They do not see the sleepless nights,

the silent sacrifices,

the battles fought out of sight.

They do not see the child

who was forced to grow too soon-

childhood taken piece by piece,

leaving only fragments behind.

And so he walks alone.

A man with eyes that reveal too little,

a man who no longer argues with accusations,

because some minds are already decided.

But beneath the armor is a soul

worn thin from surviving.

Not a villain.

Not a hero.

Just a human trying to keep standing

under burdens no one notices.

And perhaps that is the cruelest part-

not being hated,

but never being understood.
