The Lost Me

Updated: Sep 3

By Kinkinee Sarma

I’m not a lost child anymore,

I’ve just lost myself.

I know where’s the old me right now.

But I can’t bring her back,

because she is terrified by her past.

She is scared of being betrayed again.

she is scared of being judged again,

she is scared of being hurt again,

she is scared of being happy again.

That’s why she refused to come back to me.

I’m not a lost child anymore,

I’ve just lost myself now!
