The Loss

In search of happiness

Wandering around the corner

There we meet for the first time

Simply smiling at each other

Murmuring the essence of life

Your presence was so overwhelming

All I could think was about you

The struggle we go through

The war we fight

The song of sadness we sing

The tale of disdains we recite

We know we believe that we are the one suffering

We know we’re in pain

We know we say leave me alone loudly

But we also don’t want to be left alone

And we say that quietly; no one should hear

For the sake of happiness I laughed

For the sake of sadness I smiled

For the sake of loss

I am lost
