The Loop

That morning when she rose,
The world around her had froze.
Around she looked just to find,
It was real not just in her mind.
Ran around, to shake them up,
Thinking of ways to wake them up.
Every effort, just went in vain,
Tore her apart, gave her pain.
In world large she was alone,
Like a nightmare worst, it had gone.
Didn't know what to do,
Alone she had chores a few
The Love of her life was before her,
Eyes, lifeless and dull they were.
Pained her as she saw his state,
Broken down she sat besides her mate.
She wished that time turned back,
This silence slowly made her crack.
Pain, Once a snowflake was now an icicle,
Her eyes started to now trickle.
Tears a couple, dropped on him she saw,
His lifeless form had begun to thaw.
Slowly it started to become warm,
Sun came out, ending off the storm.
Suddenly she felt a sharp pain,
One that made her life drain.
Again on her bed where it had begun,
She woke up, with nowhere to run.
Life had been set in a loop,
Realizing it, her hope began to droop.
Every time she set things right,
It all just reset itself white.
With Each beginning she pushed away,
Knew that the pain was there to stay
Failing again a wish was made,
Price too large she already had paid.
Woke again from the white,
She hoped all was now right.
Running out towards her love she,
She knew now she was free.
