The Last Letter

My last letter to the sun

Beneath the windy sky.

"A final glance, a final dance

Before one sad goodbye"

For my leaves, they wither

Shiver, as they fall.

"A last remembrance of the warmth,

The cold, and it all"

"A silent whisper in the breeze

A loud silence, as I breathe.

I hold on to stay, while also

Trying to leave"

My last letter to the sun

Is all that I've got.

"For what it's worth,

For what it's not"
