The Last Glass of Water

  Once upon a time in a small town, there lived a 10 year old girl named Ria with her 5 year old brother named Rian. They were always talking about saving our Planet Earth. Since they were small children, people didn't listen to them.  One fine morning , Ria and Rian were getting ready for school, but as they went to fill their water bottles, they found that there was no water to drink.

       They were both so shocked ! They started to call out their mother. Just then they heard people arguing outside their home. Ria and Rian went out to find a glass of water placed on a table and all the people were fighting for it. The richest man of the town said “ I'll give all of my money for that glass of water”.  Another woman said “I’ll give all my gold. Please give me that water.” A young man said “the last glass of water is mine” then an old lady said “no! it’s mine”.

          Ria and Rian angrily shouted at the people,“Stop arguing! This is all our fault. if we didn't waste or pollute water then we would not have been in this situation. We all didn't understand the value of water till it was gone.”

     Just then, Rian heard a voice“ Rian!! You are going to be late to school.”Mother woke him up. Ryan got up and told his sister about his dreadful dream. Ria said “ it is up to our generation now to save our beautiful Planet.  Don't worry we still have time and we will make sure our planet is safe”
