The Lady With A Heart Of Snow
By Swathy Prasad
I saw a broken soul
Swept away by -
The waves of time;
Hiding her withered heart
With her beautiful smiling face!
From within, she was
A blown out candle.
But, she pretended to be-
The best lit one!
She had the scars -
Of a bitter married life.
But, she stood on
For the same insane one!
When hatredness was poured on her,
She paved the path of forgiveness!
When she was kicked around,
Her remissions made a defence on him!
We say, 'love is deaf and blind'
But, this sort of revere,
I have never seen!
That too, to a damn luniac!
A lady with a heart of snow,
Which melted in every blow!
This is the story
Of a pathetic sea,
Who whirled into the depths
Searching for love !
She found nothing
Other than some insane gifts
That thrashed her
Into the liolithic age!
Her faith for a sublime cure
Pushes her forward to thrive!
But, I believe in the destiny of time:
Her every tear-drop
Will pay him back!
The very insane person
Will lay on her feet
To lift her back,
To the epitome of love!
