With his diamond crown, he passes,
Flashing his birthright,
It is luck that he encompasses,
For being born high.
The King’s commands linger,
He is commended by all,
For just wagging his finger,
Being Royalty; it’s all rise no fall.
To the mellow-faced subjects:
All bow to your King!
His authority, you will not interject,
His praises you must sing.
It must not matter,
Whether he sins,
Or virtuously fills the needy’s platter,
Either way, he wins.
The Fool-
With his colourful jester’s hat, he walks,
Showcasing his humble beginning,
About his perilous journey, he never talks,
The audience must only see him grinning.
The Fool entertains the crowd,
He Is commended by all,
He ever looks mighty and proud,
When everyone claps after a slip and fall.
He has earned his place,
In the King’s golden palace,
He bows to the King with a solemn face,
Even if the proud King seems callous,
An exemplary man is our Fool,
For he only believes in his art,
His hard work is his only tool,
He rules everyone’s hearts.
