The Keys On The Piano

The keys on the piano were addicted ,

addicted to human touch .

A child waiting to be held by his mother ,

A husband mourning a loss,

Seeking solace in her memories .

Grandpa staring out of his window,

Dementia to keep him company

Reminded about his son ,

Hugging him after ages .

Aren’t we all keys on the piano ?

Waiting wanting to be touched .
