The Invisible Orphan

The past days haunts,

Darkness welcomes and surrounds,

Grievance smiles and creeps,

My soul wails and weeps.

Wish to die as an orphan-

in a wrenching nightmare.

Have been a bin to many-

to dispose their aches,

But there’s not any-

to listen to my aches.

I don’t long for money,

But for true love and care,

Someone to value my tears-

when I mourn and share.

And when the heart fails –

to get the love of nobody,

I wish people could say,

“There lies an orphan’s body.”
