The Immortal Despair

Shedding tears like one would breathe,

for the millionth time

I am drowning into the ocean of grief.

A laugh seems like ages ago

dear pain, in defeat I bow.

From always persisting the grace in the smile

to breaking down into tears the same countless nights,

the disenchanted heart never showed the truth

perhaps because those expressions were sterile.

Dear Almighty, I beg for your attention

make me happy, that’s my only aspiration.

Dear Almighty, have mercy on my,

I long to feel free.
