________________

I say goodbye, goodbye to my heart,

Stolen by you not once, not twice,

But three times, you ripped it apart.

The first was when I was a boy,

Meager and eager for any form of love.

You preyed on my innocence and I let you,

Because even the filthiest stream will perch a thirsty tongue.

The second was when you laid with her,

Multiple hers or hes, if you felt spontaneous.

Sometimes I would watch,

Just to see if it was different from our entanglements.

The third was the worst,

A betrayal I will never forget.

You dared to leave this world without me,

You dared to slit your throat without tell.

I was unresponsive for days.

I refused to eat or sleep,

Because if this was the plan,

Why didn’t you involve me?

Was I not enough?

Have I ever asked you for more?

How dare you leave me,

In this world devoid of color.

They say you were a poison in my life,

A venomous snake that crept up my leg,

But I chose those alluring eyes of my own,

And in the next life, I will do it again.
