The Girl Inside Me

The girl who lives inside me.

Sometimes talks to me and tells me to be free.

Free from every kind of stereotype.

To be happy and live my life.

But how should I make her understand.

Everything that happens with her is not in my hand.

I want to tell her it’s the society.

We have different people of different variety.

I myself want to be free.

But I guess it’s not my cup of tea.

Maybe that’s why I started writing.

To express myself and to keep fighting.

For this everyone needs to contribute.

Speak up for yourself don’t just be on mute.

Someday we will overcome it.

And then everyone will do what they think is their perfect fit.
