The Garden

In shades of green,

Lush and serene

A flower with a vibrant hue

Soft, bright with drops of dew.

Swaying to the gentle breeze,

Filled with tranquil and peace

Yellow she was, like a lil’ duck

Oh, you wouldn’t wanna pluck.

Flap flap flap

Then came her favourite

Hovering around her like a body guard, on-duty

This guy was just adding on to her pristine beauty.

He met her all of a sudden

In a path he hadn’t trodden

He was happy now, one could say

Once a worm, in a Cocooned stay.

The kaleidoscopic wings of his

And the subtle shades of hers

A rich & diverse palette

Like reciting a beautiful ballad.

With love ignite

Holding each other tight

They danced their worries away

Painting a story, words couldn’t convey
