Such is a human tendency

To romanticise every love they have recieved

Oh such is the fragile human heart!

His affairs dramatized and reality concealed

We have grown up watching movies and television

Having an illusion of being noticed by all

Reality hits, one day or the other

When life gives us that unexpected fall

Some surpass it, some avoid it, some manage it somehow

Everyone gets through eventually

And then comes the story time;

We never say what actually happened, do we ?

Sensationalising every event narrated

We skip a few, we exaggerate the rest

We become the nucleus of our own story

Making others merely the walk-in guests

Humans are amusing

They have this power of perception

We think we rule but in a web we are merely trapped

A web we ourselves created of lies and deception

All species love and romance, don’t they?

But humans; of verbalising they own the art

We talk, we express, hence we direct

Or do we?

Oh the fragile human heart!
