The First Snowfall of the Year

It was the first snowfall of the year. Even though days had passed,

your thoughts were still paused in my mind.

Sitting under the streetlight,

my skin turned cold-

but the sound of your name kept me warm inside.

I remembered our icy chitchat,

huddled on the corner of the bench.

And just like that,

it was all back in time.
