We talked for a while and she left,

I never knew that this was the girl who owned everyone's heart at her best!

She didn't talk much and kept a little quiet,

I opened up much as I wanted to know her, right?

So we sat on the beach, chit-chatting for a while,

And I was left alone even when sitting just at their right.

As I gave them their space to talk,

Letting myself go on a lonely beach walk.

I kept thinking about what to think,

And she was talking to him without escaping a single thought to sink.

I laughed at myself and looked at the sky,

In that moment I observed that my man was not that shy.

After a certain while, she wanted to feel the water,

I joined her, following the word of my man's order.

I waited for her to talk to me,

Thinking if she also would want to know about me.

But ahh! i forgot that, I've never get chosen for the good side by my destiny.

As I covered up what wasn't destined to happen,

Giving her a chance to let her heart open.

We waited for the cab till the clock ticked nine,

And the moon has smiled even better than the sunshine.

We were having a dinner of his choice,

And I got myself busy wondering about the traffic police's noise.

So, as this was the time, time, to say a good bye,

I wondered if she was the girl for whom my man was ready to die.

I was very nervous and tried being quiet,

Wishing not to meet this girl for any other night.

My thoughts and I envied that girl,

Was my man not knowing that he already has a pearl?

So she was the girl whom he wanted me to meet,

And I've decided her not ever to greet!

But I leave this thought go away from all of my mind,

Cause the destiny once caught me with the "love is blind"!
