"I'll be at this place at this time in the future."

"I plan to be at this place at this time in the future"

What do you see of these two sentences?

Which one looks realistic?

Which one feels optimistic?

Which one feels like a calculated/non calculated guess?

Well, these questions might trigger the senses in you.

Why am I having different answers for these questions?

Aren't these two sentences similar? Aren't they conveying the same idea?

Well, just think of it. The first sentence is not planning, its simple determination, which goes beyond planning.

And the second sentence is planning, which is resonated by a respect for what the future brings.

Now that you have understood what each sentence conveys, you might be wondering, What's the difference?

Well, the difference is just you.

How you perceive what comes into your mind and then comes out through you.

How you get to two different conclusions,

I know where I am going/I know where to go, and I hope I get there.

Because, not everyone has plans that never change with time. Not everyone has the power to sit back and say, "its okay if I don't get there, for my footsteps are the only things that I have left behind.

So, next time you plan, just plan.

The next time you have a fixed aim that bends before nothing, fill your mind with determination, and tell yourself that you are going beyond your control.

For the soul of determination lies in the strength of planning, yet gets torn by its weakness too!
