The oscillating mind never ceases to stop

Yester hounds back as memoirs begin to hop

Unkind has been time and the people around

A facile advice given by all – “let go and move on”

Trust is always hurt by the entrusted ones

Forever awaiting that train which never comes

All the wisdom drowned in those sunken soulful eyes

The lips are numb as the heart faintly cries

Time heals but the deep scars seldom show

Tame that turmoil, learn to rise and glow

Life is raw, unrehearsed and unready

Things will be strange – keep that head steady

Love yourself, be real and not perfect

Relinquish and release but never expect

Trust your instincts and gamble your way

Shine bright, fly high and mould your clay

Rediscover and reignite the lost “YOU”

Go easy, bother not about the unworthy’s view

Immerse yourself in euphoric ecstasy

Live, laugh and love like an immortal fantasy.
