The Dream Of Juxtapose

Once on a sudden cold night,

As I felt I was just dreaming,

It was a world all white,

Where all children were running.

The innocence on their face,

All of them engaged in some race,

Some competing within small groups,

Some formed their own troops.

Suddenly one child stopped running,

Like a new born began wondering,

What really was his goal?

What really was his role?

As he saw his friends pass by,

He felt a fear of loneliness,

He ran to get out of this mess,

But then he heard a cry.

The cry was of another child,

Who also seemed was astray,

Reaching out to the child he smiled,

“We will together find our way”.

Filled with joy of helping a new friend,

But to his questions, still was no end,

As he ran further, his circle expanded,

But voice of questions within stranded.

Constantly in search of the elusive answer,

Ever growing confusion with the life,

Was he to just make his circles and move on,

Or follow his questions and find them in strife.

Suddenly all the children were gone,

The place was a new terrain,

From the night it was now dawn,

Sitting where were two old men.

Each reflecting on his own reminiscence,

Embodiment of a juxtaposition,

Both smiled at each other in silence,

Each with his own life’s rendition.
