The Devil's Daughter

She is strong

She is smart

Her broken heart

Carved into red horns,

Now worn by her

As a crown,

Her tattered gown

She threw away

And walked towards the start of a new day.

Her now black wings

Showed the beauty of the dark

Her leather jacket

You know she’ll rip you apart

Her bright red eyes

Tell a story

Of the fire, she walks through

She looks at you and smiles

Feeling on the fear inside you

And say’s

“That respect you have for me

I’m pleased to see

But sadly, it won’t last

As in sometime

You will no longer be”

At that moment, you realize

The devil is no longer

A handsome man in a suit

But his daughter

A queen who raised

Her own kingdom of hell

She walked right through your door

And made a deal

In exchange for your soul

While you had never even known.
